Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SpeedReel, the all-in-one AI video editor operated by Cardinal Blue Software, Inc.. By using the service, you agree to them.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SpeedReel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of the service

SpeedReel is a desktop web application that lets you generate video, images, dialogue, sound, and music with AI and arrange them on a real editing timeline. Features are under active development and may change over time.

Accounts & eligibility

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use SpeedReel, and you agree to provide accurate account information.

Credits & payments

Usage is metered in credits, where 1 credit equals US$0.01. Credits are prepaid, non-transferable, have no cash value, and are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. We may grant free starter credits at our discretion.

Refunds

Credit purchases may be refunded at our discretion. If a purchase is refunded, any unused credits from that purchase may be clawed back from your balance.

Acceptable use

You may not use SpeedReel to create illegal, infringing, or harmful content, to abuse the service or automate the farming of free credits, or to resell the service or your access to it.

Content & intellectual property

You own the inputs you provide and the outputs you generate, subject to the underlying model providers' terms. You grant Cardinal Blue Software, Inc. a license to process and store your content solely to provide and operate the service.

Third-party models

Generations run on third-party providers, such as Replicate and the model vendors it hosts. Your use of those generations is also subject to the applicable providers' terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

SpeedReel is provided "as is" and is currently in beta, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardinal Blue Software, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using SpeedReel at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Cardinal Blue Software, Inc..
